Thumela Recruitment (Pty) Ltd was established in 2011 and focused on the recruitment and placement of medical doctors. The company has now expanded its suite of services and has recently registered a Human Resources Management and Development consultancy known as Thumela HR Business Solutions (Pty) Ltd in 2018.

Meet The Team

Our team comprises registered and practising professionals in the Human Resources, Legal and Clinical fields. The team members are highly experienced in all facets of Human Resources Management, Skills Development, B-BBEE Compliance and Labour Law.

Ntsiki Pakade

Ntsiki holds a B. Juris, LLB and a Post-Graduate Diploma as well as Diplomas in Management Studies and Project Management. Ntsiki is a practising attorney who works predominantly in the field of Labour Law and Disciplinary Case Management and she has consulted extensively with Provincial Department, Municipalities and in the private sector.

She has 15 years’ experience in the legal sector and three years’ experience in consulting for Human Resources compliance management and also conducts high-level Labour Relations training. One of Ntsiki’s major contributions to our projects is to ensure that all of our organisational design and development, documents and plans fall within the ambit of the South African laws.

Karen Campbell

Karen holds a B.A. (Psychology and English), a Post-Graduate Diploma in Health Management and a Certificate in Organisational Behaviour. She is registered as an HR Professional with the SABPP and has 30 years’ experience in all aspects of Human Resources management and development. Karen has worked at executive, senior management and consultant levels in the private sector, the public health sector as well as for local and International NGOs sectors.

She has sound technical expertise in all facets of HR management, Skills development and B-BBEE compliance, HR Strategic and Operational Planning, Organisational Development and Performance Management and Budgeting. Karen has worked in South Africa, Botswana, Kenya, Malawi. Nigeria and Zambia and has been a part-time and guest lecturer for several academic institutions in South Africa and Malawi, has been on teams conducting research and country-specific Health Strategic Plans.

Sindiswa Mdindela

Sindi holds an M.A. in HR Management and an Advanced Diploma in Labour Law. Sindi has a total of 15 years’ work experience in Human Resources management and development. Since 2015, Sindi has been lecturing in HR Management, Management and Training Management. Sindi has sound experience in all aspects of HR such as Strategic Planning, Training and Development, Academic teaching. She is a trained Facilitator, Moderator and Training Material Developer through the ETDP SETA-registered institutions.

Dr Garrick Barber

Garrick is a Medical Doctor with 7 years’ experience in both rural and tertiary hospitals in the public sector. He currently works in emergency care in the private sector. Garrick has a keen interest in Infectious Diseases and holds an MBChB, Diploma in HIV, Diploma in Emergency Care Practice, Advanced Diploma in Health Management, Diploma in Healthcare Management and Systems. Garrick also has an interest in clinical and hospital management research.
